Formula High School is a prestigious school based program that equips students with the skills, experience and knowledge to excel in an engineering based career path. The program centres around the very sought after MEM20422 Certificate II in Engineering Pathways qualification.
Throughout the completion of this qualification, students will work as a team to construct a customized race car. From chassis to exterior, students will develop and construct a car that is ready for our renowned annual Formula High School Challenge day.
The Formula High School program is the pinnacle of where education meets innovation. The program is designed to not only give students the neccessary skills and qualifications for the engineering industry, but also develop an even larger passion towards it.
Formula High School is based around creating a successful engineering workplace environment to ensure that students are positioned as the most ideal applicant when it comes to seeking a meaningful career after their school years.
Participants of the program are also granted access to our wide network of employers who will turn them into our new leaders.
Formula High School is a fee for service engineering excellence program designed for high-achieving students who are keen on pursuing a practical automotive and engineering career. To be eligible, students must demonstrate strong academic performance, an interest in automotive or engineering, and teamwork abilities. This opportunity is an intensive one or two year program dedicated to planning, building, and getting the car ready for the Formula High School challenge day.
We train utilising component and sub-assembly job cards within our project based learning. Underpinning those job cards is a complex and robust assessment matrix that clusters a range of unit of competency elements to each job card so our students build competency over time through the clustering process.
